Job Description

A large leading industrial manufacturing company is seeking a Security Service Technician to work onsite with one of our large commercial security clients. These Techs will service CCTV, access control, burglar alarm systems, and fire alarm systems (panel only- no sprinkler), etc. At commercial customers. They are seeking someone with industry knowledge. They will be traveling around the Northwest quadrant of Indiana and parts of the Chicagoland area!

Day to Day:
- Perform direct field labor on service and project delivery work
- Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot system issues
- Support preventative and corrective maintenance
- Assist with O&M field labor as needed
- Work under guidance of team leaders and site managers
- Accurately submit weekly time sheets

Required Skills & Experience

- Hands-on diagnostic, repair, and troubleshooting experience
- Experience performing system maintenance and O&M support
- Ability to perform direct field labor under team lead/manager guidance
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to drive to job site
- Valid driver’s license (mileage reimbursed)
- Education/Experience mix:
- University degree + 1 year experience
- 2-year degree
- + 6 years experience
- Equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience in industrial or security systems environments
- Prior work supporting service project delivery
- Familiarity with field documentation and time reporting
- Experience working on commercial or enterprise client sites
- Background with licensed field work in regulated environments
