Job Description
A client in the Plainfield IN area, is seeking an IT Director for a full-time opportunity. We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of Information Technology to lead and manage all aspects of IT operations. This role is critical to driving innovation, ensuring system integration, and supporting infrastructure enhancements across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of managing complex IT transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all IT operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and business needs.
Lead the transition from RedPrairie to BlueYonder Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Drive infrastructure upgrades, including the deployment of handheld devices and the integration of advanced conveyor systems such as the Picktalet lighting system for order tracking.
Guide the organization through the ISO certification process, with a focus on achieving second-level security accreditation and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Oversee the seamless integration and implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring interoperability and scalability.
Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IT department, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, security, and user experience.

Warehouse Management System Experience (WMS- BlueYonder preferred)
Cybersecurity Fundamentals
Cloud Experience (Azure Preferred)
