Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a skilled Sleep Technician to join our team in Munster, Indiana. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a new sleep center, providing high-quality patient care and accurate sleep study results. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities
-Conduct overnight sleep studies (polysomnography) in accordance with AASM standards.
-Prepare and calibrate sleep monitoring equipment prior to patient arrival.
-Apply electrodes and sensors, ensuring proper signal quality.
-Monitor patients throughout the night and document observations.
-Score sleep studies and prepare reports for physician review.
-Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients.
This is a contract to hire opportunity paying between $25-$31/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
-Accredited degree in Polysomnography.
-6–12+ months of experience in sleep technology or a related healthcare field.
-Ability to work overnight (7pm - 5am)
