The Quality Control Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing site quality control activities across large-scale or complex projects. This role ensures that all project deliverables meet or exceed client specifications, industry standards, and company quality program requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Interpret and apply project technical requirements, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
Conduct regular inspections, surveillance, and scheduled audits to assess construction quality and ensure compliance.
Use independent judgment to identify quality-related issues and recommend effective solutions aligned with project goals.
Plan, prioritize, and manage daily quality control activities, including tasks assigned by leadership.
Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to overall project quality objectives.
Conduct inspections and testing across multiple disciplines, as needed, to support project requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

An accredited two- or three-year diploma in Technical or Engineering Technology, or an equivalent qualification in a related field of study recognized.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control, preferably in construction or industrial project environments.

Industry certifications preferred, such as: ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing, AWS (American Welding Society), API (American Petroleum Institute) or NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers)
