Job Description
• Own and monitor facility mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, boilers, dehumidification, DI water) that support a controlled EV battery manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, serving as the engineering escalation point for complex facilities problems alongside maintenance teams.
• Oversee preventive maintenance strategies, equipment reliability, and performance trends using CMMS tools (e.g., Maximo).
• Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of facility infrastructure as the plant ramps up or expands.
Ensure regulatory compliance and environmental control, coordinating with electrical, controls, EHS, and vendors—without working on production lines

Required Skills & Experience
• 3-7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in manufacturing, industrial or energy environments (i.e. battery, semiconductor, pharma, medical, etc)
• Experience working with multiple mechanical systems: water systems, air systems, boiler systems, chillers etc
• Construction, building and facility experience
Ability to handle project work and construction project facilitation
