Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Superintendent to lead a crew of HVAC Controls Technicians responsible for point-to-point wiring and control panel integration for HVAC systems in a large commercial building serving a pharmaceutical client. This role is critical to ensuring the successful installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC Controls Technicians performing point-to-point wiring and control panel work.
Oversee daily field operations, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
Support system checkouts and functional testing of HVAC equipment and automation systems.
Make setpoint adjustments and assist in troubleshooting control issues.
Escalate programming-related issues to engineering when necessary.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client representatives to ensure alignment on scope and expectations.
Maintain documentation of work progress, issues, and resolutions.

Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience leading or mentoring HVAC teams in commercial construction environments.
Strong understanding of HVAC equipment operation and control systems.
Familiarity with automation system commissioning and testing procedures.
Ability to interpret control schematics and wiring diagrams.
Comfortable making setpoint changes and supporting system troubleshooting.
