Insight Global is looking for a Sr Embedded Software Engineer to support one of our largest clients in Indianapolis, IN. We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer who will be contributing to flagship programs and tackling complex technological challenges. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and document embedded software for safety-critical electronic engine control and monitoring systems. You’ll be involved throughout the product lifecycle—from concept development to final production release—working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. Key responsibilities include capturing and synthesizing software requirements, architecting and verifying high-integrity embedded systems, and leading cross-functional engineering teams to meet program objectives. You will manage software development using agile methodologies, ensure compliance with safety and security standards, and compile documentation for certification and customer deliverables. Experience with aerospace safety-critical software and qualification processes for civil or military applications is essential.

Required Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM
• 5+ years experience with embedded real time operating systems
• Familiarity with C, Simulink, Assembly, and/or Python
• Ability to analyze and translate high level requirements into software systems and components
• Activity security clearance
