Job Description

This role supports the College’s HR systems, mainly Workday HCM, under the guidance of the HR Systems Architect. The goal is to keep systems running smoothly, help improve HR processes, and ensure a great experience for employees using these tools.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and maintain Workday modules like Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, and Performance.
• Handle advanced technical issues (Tier III support) and troubleshoot system problems.
• Improve processes by updating configurations and using new Workday features.
• Stay current on Workday updates and manage system upgrades.
• Work with HR teams to find and implement system solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and system compliance.
• Analyze issues and develop solutions.
• Create and update system documentation and training materials.
• Gather user needs to improve system functionality.
• Build and maintain reports in Workday.
• Understand HR operations to suggest improvements.
• Join design sessions and share best practices.
• Collaborate with HR teams and other Workday users across campuses.
• Provide training and support to users.
• Act as the main contact for Workday support.
• Support technical integrations with other systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certification: Must have or earn a Workday certification within the first year.
• Experience:
o At least 3 years of experience supporting and managing Workday systems.
o At least 3 years of professional HR experience.
• Skills & Qualities:
o Strong understanding of HR processes and systems.
