Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Principal Project Engineer to support one of our DOD clients in Indiana. The Principal Project Engineer will be leading the production and repair of various ground and air based systems. They will support all phases of the production and repair process working with engineers to develop technical solutions and leading a multi-discipline team, including Engineering, Production, and QA disciplines to repair and test products. The Project Engineer will produce technical leadership to help resolve production issues or post delivery failures. They will be developing project plans, maintaining project schedules and will be driving the team to a solution that meets requirements and cost targets.

Required Skills & Experience

8+ years working experience
o Leading and developing proposals
o Creating and maintaining project plans
o Conducting project reviews
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field
Mechanical Background
DOD or Aerospace experience - Automotive can work as well
Microsoft Project experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP Certification
Familiarity with Mechanical Design in CREO or other CAD programs
SAP S/4HANA experience or similar ERP
Experience in Agile environment
