Job Description
A retail employer in the Indianapolis area is seeking an Parts Supervisor to oversee parts management and inventory control within their parts distribution warehouse. This role is highly analytical and focuses on ensuring accurate inventory tracking, efficient handling of inbound and outbound shipments, and alignment with operational strategies. The Parts Supervisor will report directly to the Parts Manager and will lead parts center staff, including pickers, to maintain smooth daily operations and adherence to company standards.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategies for loading and unloading VLMs, managing replenishment levels, and supervising auto-replenishment processes for technician vehicles. The position also involves maintaining inventory accuracy through the CMMS platform (Maximo), coordinating with supply vendors to ensure timely delivery, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that support operational goals. This role requires strong leadership behaviors to lead a team of 4-5.

Required Skills & Experience
4 -6 years of inventory control/parts management experience.
Inventory control management.
Strong data analytics background and well versed in MS Excel.
Proven experience in inventory forecasting, using data analytics and historical trends.
Experience building partnerships with vendors.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
FedEx system experience
