Job Description
Undertakes routine daily activities and is accountable for system design, build, testing, validation, maintenance, and ongoing support of all network infrastructure components.
Undertakes the implementation of new and enhanced network technology that aligns to customers’ strategic direction for enterprise and remote site connectivity.
Maintains standards for global network infrastructure, including wireless, LAN, WAN, NAC (ISE), load balancing (F5) and security (FW, encryption).
Manages the installation, testing, and setup of new network hardware both physical and virtual (firewalls, routers, switching, monitoring) hardware and software.
Executes engineering efforts to ensue suitability and supportability of networking technology.
Participates in technology lifecycle planning, including contributing to the development of the technology roadmaps and Network Health Assessments.
Delivers the required documentation, knowledge transfer and training to successfully land new solutions into the support organization.
Delivers support for clients with data protection and overarching regulatory compliance requirements.
Provides support for problem escalations from the US network support organization.
Drives impact with a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within the Network Engineering team and other related teams.
Mentors other Engineering professionals, helping to improve the team’s abilities by acting as a technical resource.
Champions, continuously develops, and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in Network Engineering.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with strong experience working in a Data Center environment
Experience managing the installation, testing and setup of new networking hardware, physically and virtually
Knowledge and hands on experience conducting wireless surveys, experience with Ekahau tools specifically is a plus
Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining network security (firewalls and WAN encryption)
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding project and operations-based customer environment on a weekly on-call rotation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Cisco or Networking related Certifications (non-expired) including CCIE, CCNA, Network +, CISSP, CWNP, CCNP, etc.
Experience with Cisco ISE.
Experience with network monitoring and management SolarWinds and Prime
