Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing and repair of assemblies used on military vehicles for one of our largest aerospace clients. This candidate needs to have a background in mechanical assemblies, writing work instructions, and shop floor routing. The Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer should also be able to understand difficult tech packages, understand how to read engineering drawings and GD&T, and also be familiar with bill of materials. They should be able to support multiple projects, in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision. NOTE: This position is on site daily.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in the manufacturing space
Mechanical engineering background
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, industrial, aerospace engineering or related fields
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5 standards)
DOD or Aerospace background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP
3D modeling experience
Mechanical Design experience with CREO or similar CAD tool
Familiarity with MIL standards
