Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive GIS analyst to support the work with the Utility Network at our local utility client. This individual will be working as a middle point between GIS technicians and GIS admins, assisting with task such as asset mapping, data pulling within the UN, and understanding the relationships between assets. The overall goal is to keep things in order as the company updates all GIS systems and corrects symbology among the mapped assets.
Day to Day:
• Reporting to GIS/Drafting manager and working directly with GIS Admin
• Pulling data within the UN
• Moving data to excel, putting into to tables and sharing with team and stakeholders
• Using python in ArcGIS, creating queries for data
• Updating symbology of assets
• Web map creation

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
• 2+ years of experience within ArcIGIS Pro within the Utility Network
• Proficient within python and excel
• Detailed, organized, proactive communication, and ability to multitask
• Experience using SAP
