Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Development Operations Engineer for our client, Trimedx. This individual will play a critical role in bridging software engineering and technology operations by building secure, scalable, and highly automated delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate has strong Azure and Terraform expertise, a DevSecOps mindset, and hands-on experience supporting CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and Kubernetes-based environments. This role partners closely with engineering teams to accelerate delivery, improve reliability, and embed security throughout the SDLC, making it a great opportunity for someone who thrives in modern cloud-native and regulated environments.
• Support software engineering and technology operations in delivering new solutions
• Manage and monitor Dev/Test/Prod environments across the SDLC
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and IaC frameworks
• Develop scripts to automate DevOps and operational functions
• Support code, configuration management, and release branching strategies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with application, engineering, and operations teams
• Implement performance testing, benchmarking, and bottleneck analysis
• Assist with release engineering, release management, and site reliability efforts
• Ensure infrastructure meets application and environment needs
• Create dashboards and provide status updates to management
• Facilitate project discussions and deliver presentations to leadership

Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves
• 4–7+ years of experience in DevOps / DevSecOps engineering
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions
• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (required)
• Proven ability to build, standardize, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines
• Experience creating reusable pipeline templates and deployment patterns
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (required)
• DevSecOps implementation experience, including:
o SAST (Static Code Analysis)
o Secrets management and scanning
o IaC validation and security scanning
• Experience embedding security controls directly into CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Kubernetes (AKS preferred)
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience automating build, deployment, and validation workflows
• Experience working in regulated or audit-sensitive environments
• Ability to support multiple teams or parallel initiatives
• Proven track record of reducing manual deployments and standardizing delivery pipelines
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• ServiceNow integration experience
• Experience with Datadog or similar observability/monitoring tools
• Background working with platform engineering teams
• Release governance experience including approval gates and promotion strategies
