Creates and populates metadata and plans and participates in unit testing for data validation
Evaluates test results for fulfillment of all data requirements
Develops conceptual or general designs, including logical design of databases, access methods, and metadata presentation
Details all aspects of functional designs, including record layouts, pseudo-code, and detailed data mapping
Provides ongoing support of business, including ongoing data analysis, data quality testing, and enhancement of metadata
Reviews SQL code and provides DBMS technical configuration and troubleshooting
24x7 production and non-production DBA on-call support

3-5 years of experience with database management systems (DBMS) support for Oracle and PostgreSQL
Experience working with PL/SQL
Knowledge of Python for managing and monitoring jobs
Experience utilizing DMBS management tools and implementing new DMBS features
Experience working within Medicare claims or for CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services)
Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
