Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a resource to become a full time employee for one of our Top Clients in Fort Wayne, IN. This resource will working as an electrical engineer for their plant. Roughly 30% of their time will be spent on the floor hands on with equipment, including troubleshooting and swaps of electrical equipment. 30% of their time will be working on new equipment/upgrades and design work on implementing the equipment. The remainder of the time varies but does include the supervision over 2 to 3 electrical technicians.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Contorls/Systems engineering discipline
2+ Years of professional experience
Must have high voltage troubleshooting experience
o Transformers
Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, specifications, P&ID diagrams, and all else required to specify, plan, and execute process and equipment improvement projects.
Experience managing and installation of capital projects
Experience in PLC systems configuration and programming (i.e., Siemens, Modicon, and Rockwell Automation), development in user interface applications (i.e., WinCC Flexible, RSView and InTouch), and tuning and troubleshooting AC/DC motor drives.
Working knowledge of a CMMS

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in Aluminum or Steel industrial manufacturing environment
Supervision experience
