Job Description

-Create and update Distribution system models and perform load-flow studies
-Prepare project scope packages for distribution asset rehab and grid modernization projects
-Prepare detailed cost estimates of distribution line projects
-Analyze reliability data noting areas of system improvement needs
-Perform circuit contingency analysis determining the suitability of automation projects
-Support design of new and upgraded customer electrical services with detailed electrical analysis

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering in a program accredited by ABET Must be electrical engineering degree
2+ years of engineering experience (planning or design)
Curious and eager to learn: A proactive mindset and willingness to explore new concepts and technologies.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Utilities exp or background electrical utilities
Experience running load flow analyses with a strong understanding of power system behavior, voltage stability, and network optimization.
Proficiency in software tools like PSS/E, ETAP, or PowerWorld
