Our client in the Columbus, IN area is looking to hire a Technican to join their Depot Repair team. This position will entail, physically moving equipment from the warehouse to the office, unboxing it, reconfiguring it, re-boxing it and getting it out to the truck to ship back out to the appropriate location. Additional responsibilities are shown below:
- Monitors incident tracking system for incident work orders assigned to Depot queue.
- Provide status updates to customers as requested for all open incidents.
- Accurately updates incident tickets to reflect process progression and closes/reassigns incident tickets upon completion.
- Builds, configures, and images all replacement Store back office, network related, and point of sale hardware.
- Accurately ships all outgoing hardware and keeps up to date package shipping logs.
- Ensures the timely return of all replaced supported hardware.
- Breaks down and processes incoming shipments of hardware daily.
- Coordinates schedules and builds all NTI and Raze and Rebuild site hardware.
- Maintains accurate records by tracking outgoing, returning, and project related hardware.
- Forecast, monitor, and maintain all inventory at an acceptable level for supported hardware.
- Assists with all back office, network, and point of sale related projects as needed.
- Looks for ways to improve processes and communicates these processes to Management.
-Comfortable being in a computer repair environment where you could be unboxing new equipment and getting equipment ready to be shipping back out to the field
-Comfortable working in a warehouse
-Comfortable being vert physical and moving a lot of equipment around
-Extremely reliable and able to follow instructions
-Must be able to lift 40 pounds
