Insight Global is seeking a Power System Engineer to support one of our largest Energy/Utility clients in Indiana. The Power System Engineer is being brought on to assist with running Transmission Upgrade Studies (TUS) engineering studies for our allocation calculations. Our client has a backlog of work, and they are looking for someone who can help them get caught up. This candidate needs to be someone who is comfortable working on their own and has a good track record of electrical engineering and can think critically. The Power System Engineer will be working through their project backlog 1 by 1, adjusting their models appropriately, running results and calculations, storing results, etc. They will also run flows, let it calculate, investigate the models, look into any discrepancies, and take outputs out of those and review with the team.
