Job Description

Essential Functions
Assessment & Evaluation: Conducts comprehensive evaluations (academic, behavioral, emotional) and interprets results.
IEP & 504 Support: Participates in IEP/504 planning, writes reports, and ensures compliance with legal standards.
Counseling & Crisis Response: Provides individual/group counseling and crisis intervention.
Consultation & Collaboration: Works with families, teachers, and agencies to support student needs.
Behavioral Support: Develops FBAs, BIPs, and supports positive behavioral change.
Program Development: Assists in designing special education programs and transition planning.
Documentation: Maintains accurate records, billing, and communication logs.
Professional Engagement: Attends meetings, provides training, and may serve as administrative designee.
Mobility: Travels between multiple sites as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

Master's or higher degree in school psychology from an accredited college or university.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist Endorsement.
