Job Description
- A client of Insight Global is seeking an SAP Functional Consultant - Finance & Logistics (FI/CO/FM/SD) to support the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS), USTRANSCOM's enterprise SAP S/4HANA platform supporting global transportation, logistics, procurement, financial management, and supply chain operations. This position serves as a functional expert responsible for designing, configuring, implementing, testing, and sustaining SAP Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), Funds Management (FM), and Sales & Distribution (SD) capabilities supporting Department of Defense transportation and logistics operations. The SAP Functional Consultant partners with government stakeholders, business process owners, SAP developers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions while ensuring integration across finance, transportation, logistics, procurement, and enterprise business processes. This role supports business process analysis, system configuration, testing, documentation, production support, and continuous improvement within an Agile software development environment.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of SAP functional experience in one or more of the following modules: FI, CO, FM, or SD.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and financial, budgeting, accounting, or logistics business processes.
- Experience supporting SAP implementations, system enhancements, testing, and production support.
- Ability to gather requirements and develop functional specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- DoD or Federal ERP experience.
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- SAP module integration experience (FI/CO/FM/SD).
- SAP Fiori and Cloud ALM/Solution Manager familiarity.
- Transportation, logistics, or financial management background.
- SAP, Agile/Scrum, or Security+ certifications.
