These Scrum Masters will be standing up an Agile delivery model to write stories, features, and epics. The 5 defined product families are: Student Success, Enrollment, Academics, Home Office (legal, accounting, finance), and Innovation. Within those product families, they will have a PM & Technical Architect on the business side. From there, they will have products within those products families & then Pods. There will be 25 product teams including shared services like Banner, Mulesoft
Responsibilities:
Planning
Ensure a shared vision across the team
Negotiate sprint commitment: team, product owner, delivery leader
Evaluate story quality; ask questions in team assignments
Validate estimating and planning processes
Delivery
Lead team agile ceremonies: stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, iteration reviews; track KPIs
Build a self-organizing team focused on velocity, quality, collaboration, and happiness
Balance organizational skills with process standards
Capture blockers and identify who can resolve them
Track dependencies: unblock stories as needed; follow up on internal and external dependencies
Improve backlog and active board data quality
Transform
Rally team around velocity and quality; drive improvements from retrospectives
Promote team health, happiness, and productivity
