Insight Global is looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a passion for building high-quality applications using agile practices to join our client's Mainframe Security and Compliance team in Lisle, IL. In this role, you will be a key member of the development team and will focus on building, testing, and supporting leading-edge Mainframe Security solutions used by many of the world’s largest companies.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors in Engineering or related
- 3+ years of professional mainframe experience
- IBM Assembler Language (HLASM) proficiency.
- z/OS Operating system familiarity.
- Source control systems experience (Endevor etc.)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience/Knowledge of z/VM Systems Programming and/or IMS Systems Programming is a plus.
- Experience working with an ESM(External Security Manager) and/or other mainframe products and systems is a plus.
- Experience with online z/OS debugger is desirable (XDC / IPCS).
- Proficiency in Metal C, and JCL.
