Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workday Integration Manager to lead our integration efforts. In this role, you will oversee the strategy, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of seamless integrations between Workday and various internal and external systems. Your leadership will ensure optimized HR processes, efficient data flow, and alignment with organizational goals. You will champion our integration methodology, ensuring consistency, timely delivery of milestones, and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead Integration Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive integration strategies for Workday HCM, collaborating with HR, IT, and business units to define requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.

Manage Integration Development: Oversee the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, PECI, XSLT, and other relevant technologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders to identify integration opportunities, propose enhancements, and implement solutions that streamline data exchange and business processes.

Ensure Robust Solutions: Apply an analytical approach to resolve system issues, leveraging an understanding of system interdependencies and the Workday integration toolset to build reliable and efficient integrations.

Monitor and Optimize Performance: Continuously monitor integration performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep abreast of Workday updates, emerging technologies, and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions and enhancements to existing integrations.

Develop Processes and Standards: Lead the creation of new processes, templates, and documentation for integration delivery, contributing to the knowledge base and establishing best practices.

Risk Management: Proactively identify, escalate, and mitigate risks, developing alternative technical and functional approaches to ensure project success.

Mentor and Guide Teams: Provide leadership to integration teams, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting the professional development of team members.

Pay rate: $50-55/hr

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience building and managing Workday HCM integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, PECI, and XSLT.
Proficient in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and JSON for creating reliable integrations.
Ability to lead integration strategies and work with HR, IT, and business teams to meet goals.
Understands HR processes and how they integrate with Workday.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certified in Workday Integration or Studio.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters in a related field
Experience integrating Workday with platforms like ServiceNow or Salesforce.
Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for custom integrations.
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methods.
Understanding of how to support new system adoption.
Ability to use analytics to improve integration performance.
Experience guiding or training team members.
