Job Description

A large retail company is seeking a Salesforce QA Analyst who approaches quality assurance through a systems-thinking lens, deeply understanding real user behavior and proactively hunting for breakage points in edge cases, cross-team workflows, and complex real-world scenarios. This is not a rote “click-through-and-mark-pass” position; instead, you will ensure features not only function correctly but deliver intuitive, reliable experiences for actual users, validating end-to-end workflows across Sales, Service, and integrated systems while anticipating user mistakes, shortcuts, workarounds, failure points, and unintended consequences.

In this role, you will design and execute scenario-driven manual test cases to validate UI/UX behavior, data integrity, permissions, and automation outcomes, while conducting thorough regression testing to safeguard existing functionality and logging clear, actionable defects with precise reproduction steps and articulated business impact. You will also build and maintain reliable automated test scripts for Salesforce applications, strategically deciding what to automate versus keep manual, and ensuring test stability amid platform releases and customizations. Responsibilities further include creating, managing, and executing test plans and cycles in Zephyr; maintaining high-quality, user-journey-focused test cases; tracking defects, results, and release readiness; collaborating closely with Developers, Admins, Product Owners, and Change teams; asking clarifying questions to prevent issues early; translating technical problems into accessible business impacts; and advocating for quality in a way that supports velocity without unnecessary delays.

Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
