Job Description

• Program Leadership: Own/initiate project structures (charters, schedules, RAID, communications) and run governance cadences (steerco/tollgates).
• Commercialization: Orchestrate R&D → pilot → scale handoffs; manage launch readiness (supply, labeling/regulatory, training, enablement).
• Brand Renovation: Lead refresh initiatives (pack/formula/positioning/visual identity) with Marketing, Regulatory, Ops, and Quality.
• Process Management: Implement/iterate frameworks (Stage Gate, Lean/6σ) and maintain a single source of truth in Smartsheet/PLM.
• Change Management: Build impact assessments, stakeholder maps, comms/training plans; track adoption and mitigate resistance.
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with R&D, Commercial, Operations, Finance, Regulatory, Quality; facilitate decisions and resolve conflicts.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks, reduce cycle times, improve launch predictability, and standardize playbooks across the merged org.
• Drive integration of Pactiv and Novolex ways of working—merging innovation processes and best practices without losing effectiveness.
• Focus initially on establishing simple, systematized frameworks and scalable processes across the merged organization.
• Leverage the early-stage opportunity to standardize and streamline how innovation moves from idea to commercialization.

Required Skills & Experience

• CPG/GTM (go-to-market) commercialization experience (bringing physical products to market)
o Need product innovation/commercialization expereince
• Experience bands:
o Startup: 3–5 years (comfort with ambiguity and speed), and/or
o Structured enterprise: 5–7 years (governance, scale, cross functional orchestration).
• Certification: PMP (highly preferred / required by enterprise leadership).
• Strong program/process management skills with evidence of standardized artifacts (charters, RAID, KPIs).
• Proven ability to translate technical info from scientists/engineers into plans and executive-ready narratives.
• Tool proficiency: Smartsheet (current preference), plus familiarity with MS Project, Jira/Confluence, SharePoint, PLM/MDM.
