IT Site Support Specialist

Day to Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Site Support Specialist for one of their global clients in the Manufacturing industry. This candidate will be expected to be a seasoned in IT Support, and will need to be a great team player with a great personality, and should be task oriented. This position is a fully on-site role out of Skokie, IL. This candidate will be brought on to help the Infrastructure team on key projects in IT support such as AV & PC refreshes, RF Guns, etc.

- Specific responsibilities:

Site support across hardware, software, network, AV support

• Troubleshooting

• MS Suite

• Printer

• Networking

Working through ticketing system

Traveling to other sites providing site support

Qualifications:

- Collegiate degree within IT

- 5+ years of professional experience in IT Support roles

Excellent background with support in Networking, Hardware, Software, AV, etc.

Expertise of Service Desk process knowledge and objectives

Experience with Organizational Change Management Methodologies

- 2+ years of experience IT operations/service organization

Supporting on-site and remote support

Experience working in environment with complex IT infrastructure

- Physical ability to see, work, carry things in day to day operations

- Prior experience in Manufacturing or Automotive organization

Experience with AV support

Preferred:

- Automotive or manufacturing experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Desktop or IT Support Certifications

Any RF Gun experience
