Insight Global is seeking a Mobile Device (iPad) Architect / Engineer for a leading enterprise client operating in a highly controlled, managed wireless environment. This role will lead the design, integration, and ongoing management of iPad devices using Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Intune, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable mobile operations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in iOS device lifecycle management, enrollment strategies, wireless network integration, and enterprise mobility best practices, with additional value in environments leveraging SOTI. This individual will partner closely with networking and security teams to deliver a seamless and compliant mobile experience across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience
• Deep expertise in Apple iPad/iOS device management at enterprise scale
• Strong hands-on experience with Apple Business Manager (ABM)
• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for iOS/iPadOS
• Expertise in device enrollment methods (Automated Device Enrollment/DEP, user affinity, kiosk/shared modes)
• Experience managing configuration profiles, compliance policies, and security controls
• Strong knowledge of managed wireless networks (Wi-Fi profiles, certificates, NAC integration, troubleshooting connectivity)
• Experience with application deployment (VPP/apps via ABM, Intune app lifecycle management)
• Strong troubleshooting skills across device enrollment, policy conflicts, and network/authentication issues
• Ability to design and support secure, compliant endpoint architecture
Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with network, security, and infrastructure teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with SOTI MobiControl (or similar MDM/UEM platforms)
• Knowledge of certificate-based authentication (SCEP, PKI integration)
• Experience with Kiosk/Shared iPad deployments (education, retail, healthcare use cases)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust / conditional access integration (Azure AD, compliance signals)
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, API integrations)
• Experience migrating devices from legacy MDM (e.g., SOTI → Intune)
• Exposure to Apple security frameworks and compliance standards
