Insight Global is looking to hire a Production Floor Supervisor for one of our largest manufacturing clients to sit in Peoria, IL. As a Production Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality, cost, delivery, morale, and safety of production area. You will be responsible for meeting deadlines of shipments, ensuring all material are going to be shipped, and do investigations if the materials will not be shipped on time. You will be overseeing a total of 4 team leads and 58 warehouse workers, ensuring disciplinary procedures, training and developing subordinates, delegating work assignments, writing and conducting performance appraisals, and coaching employees.

- Associates degree in business or engineering and 3 years previous manufacturing supervisory experience (years of experience can outweigh degree)
- 3 years experience supervising a team and working in a production warehouse
- Authority to identify the status of production orders and take action with such material
- Experience maintaining safety and holding people to safety standards
- Microsoft / computer skills
- Bachelors degree need this to grow within company
