Job Description
Seeking a hands-on Azure Technical Advisor with deep expertise across the Azure platform who can operate holistically across services, improve system visibility, and lead troubleshooting and performance optimization efforts. This person will also upskill product and technical teams to operate more effectively in an Azure environment - building confidence in day-to-day operational excellence, monitoring and analytics.

Required Skills & Experience
• Serve as a technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) on Azure, with an end-to-end understanding of how Azure services integrate and perform together.
• Own and drive troubleshooting efforts for production issues, including root cause analysis and remediation recommendations.
• Lead performance optimization initiatives across Azure services (scaling, latency reduction, reliability improvements).
• Improve system visibility and operational maturity, including logging strategy, alerting, dashboards, and metrics governance.
• Build and maintain monitoring/observability practices using Azure-native tooling and analytics.
• Upskill the Product and technical teams through knowledge transfer, working sessions, documentation, and best-practice guidance on operating within Azure.
Deep knowledge and expertise with:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Front Door (including analytics and performance visibility)
• Azure Monitoring & Analytics, including:
o Log Analytics
o Application Insights
o Azure Monitor/Metrics
• Azure SQL Managed Instance (SQL MI)
