Job Description
User Experience Researcher II helps teams understand user behaviors, needs, and
motivations through actionable research. This role executes mixed-methods UX research
initiatives for a product or business line, balancing generative discovery (e.g., interviews,
contextual inquiry, workflow/task analysis) with evaluative testing (e.g., usability tests,
concept validation, surveys) to inform product strategy and design decisions.

Required Skills & Experience
3+ years of experience in a related role.
• Proficient in participant recruiting (e.g., scheduling tools such as MS Bookings;
third-party panels such as User Interviews; incentives; and customer outreach via
sales and marketing colleagues).
• Demonstrated experience with both generative methods (contextual inquiry, indepth interviews, diary/field studies) and evaluative methods (usability testing,
concept/prototype testing, heuristic reviews).
• Can explain where and how PII must be protected.
• Proficient with research and analysis tools (e.g., Qualtrics and Teams for
moderated/unmoderated sessions; Dovetail and SharePoint for research
repositories; Excel for analysis).
• Experience with data and analysis tools such as Pendo, Excel, FullStory or
equivalent.
• Experience with wireframe tools such as Figma.
• Knowledge of user frameworks and synthesis approaches (e.g., Cultural Models,
Jobs to Be Done, mental models, influence maps) and user-centered design
processes.
• Demonstrated experience writing crisp insights tied to business value.
• Able to lead portions of workshops, effectively working hands-on with a senior
mentor.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
