* Manages the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/controlling and closing of Information Technology (IT) projects in support of organizational area's strategic objectives and ongoing operations.
* Interacts with project leadership to identify and document project objectives, scope, high-level functional requirements, project success criteria, and stakeholders.
* Collaborates with Project Sponsor and project team to establish project timelines and scope, in cooperation with project leadership.
* Prepares and presents comprehensive project scope and definition documents.
* Collaborates with functional and/or technical teams to determine resource needs, task deliverables, task dependencies, and due dates.
* Utilizes the project management framework and standard tools to facilitate project planning, estimating, and scheduling work, and to supports periodic and frequent monitoring and reporting of project status, progress, and performance.
* Develops and manages communication plan for key messages and project updates that will be used throughout the project.
* Ensures appropriate planning measures are taken and reviewed, including adjusting project assignments, as needed, to accommodate new issues, scope changes, revised work estimates, and resource availability constraints.
* Analyzes short- and long-term resource needs to recommend and/or adjust project resource needs and estimates appropriately.
* Monitors and communicates progress, revising timelines and effort estimates while applying appropriate integrated project change control procedures.
* Communicates decisions, approved changes, risks and issues to all stakeholders.
* Oversees software development and project management practices to promote deliverable quality.

* 5+ years of solid IT project management experience
* Experience working on enterprise-level, complex technical projects
* Strong expertise in metrics and reporting -- holding people accountable to KPIs and showing that data to stakeholders
* Full project life cycle of a software implementation
* CRM implementation experience -- ideally Salesforce
* Higher ed background
* PMP certification
* Agile environment
