Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a Maintenance Mechanic in Elgin, IL to support their 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-11:30pm. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems within a manufacturing environment. They will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdowns, assist with equipment changeovers and line setups, and support machinery installations and modifications. The role will work closely with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards. They will also document maintenance activities, follow safety procedures, maintain organized work areas, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Compensation ranges from $25-$29/hour plus a $1.00/hr shift differential.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and gearboxes
- Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- High school diploma or equivalent
