Seeking a Technical Business Analyst with CPQ and large‑scale product manufacturing experience to translate complex, BoM‑driven product configurations into clear, testable requirements. This role is the primary BA on a professional services project, working closely with the engineering manager, development team, and manufacturing sales stakeholders. Success requires the ability to connect process to tool, bring clarity in ambiguous environments, and own the workstream end‑to‑end. The core challenge is accurately capturing and translating complex product configuration (rules, constraints, variants) into CPQ.

Required Skills & Experience
Key Responsibilities:
• Elicit, analyze, and document business/technical requirements for CPQ in complex manufacturing contexts
• Process → tooling: Translate manufacturing processes (BoM logic, dependencies, constraints) into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned to Salesforce CPQ capabilities
• Run workshops with manufacturing sales users; ask probing questions, drive decisions, and produce clear documentation
• Collaborate with engineering on backlog grooming, prioritization, sequencing, and UAT; manage gaps, dependencies, and risk/issue escalation
• Map as‑is/to‑be processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend pragmatic improvements
Requirements:
• 5+ years as a BA/Technical BA
• 1+ year in manufacturing, specifically B2B OEM (hard requirement); experience with large‑scale products
• Engineering or Computer Science degree
• CPQ in manufacturing at admin or product owner level
• Proven understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM), configurable products, rules/constraints, and quoting flows in complex manufacturing (pumps, refrigeration systems, heat exchangers, HVAC, industrial/commercial)
• Agile and hybrid methodology experience
• Understanding of software delivery and basic architecture concepts
• Experience utilizing Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams
• Excel power user; SQL preferred for validation/analysis
Excellent verbal/written skills for non‑technical sales stakeholders; proactive, organized, and comfortable operating as the sole BA across projects
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Refrigeration industry experience, HVAC exposure helpful
• Hands‑on CPQ configuration (rules, bundles, price books, approvals)
• Engineering or Computer Science degree
• Prior OEM experience in pumps/heat exchangers/refrigeration/HVAC and other industrial/commercial products
• Experience validating complex data scenarios
Experience in custom CPQ solutions
