An Insight Global client is looking for a civil engineer local to the Southeast of the United States i.e. GA, TN, FL, SC, NC, AL, LA, TX, VA. As a civil engineer, you'll be responsible for preparing complete, accurate, and code-compliant construction documents. Your role involves providing technical and creative design solutions aligned with program intent, performing civil engineering design calculations, and preparing engineering reports. You'll determine appropriate site features and their design application, maintain project schedules, and coordinate work with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Additionally, you'll oversee staff engineers, resolve plan review comments, pursue professional development, and represent the company at client project meetings

- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or Architecture or Construction
- Active PE (professional engineer) License
- 8 years of Civil Engineering experience
- AutoCAD
- Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D (preferred), Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet.
- Experience completing projects in multiple states
- Civil Engineering experience with Strip Malls or Retail Spaces
- Great communication and presentation skills
