Space Planning Product Manager

Insight Global’s client is looking for a Product Manager to come in and support their space planning group. They are looking for a strong Product Manager who is able to come up with product strategy, understand the problem areas. Figure out how that would plan the strategy. Develop vision, short term and long term plans. Someone who is able to understand the overall problem, break it into features, create backlog, prioritize it, etc. They will be interfacing with cross functional team, participating in stakeholder management, road map development, monitoring and tracking the progress.

There are two openings:
1. One primarily focused on KTLO
2. One primarily focused on SPE (Standing Planning Element – How space is needed)

Background on space planning:
• Space planning involves tools used for retail space planning.
• Macro level: high-level, bird's eye view of store layouts.
• Micro level: store-level, street-level views.
• Compliance is a factor, determining what can be placed above or next to other items.
• Promotional planning is also important, placing items together that are often purchased together.

-5-10 years of Product Management experience- someone with thought and strategy, challenging the business appropriately.
-ADO or JIRA
-Retail background
-Micro and Macro experience and knowledge (Micro is more important for KTLO opening if forced to prioritize)
-Blue Yonder Implementation experience (or any other space planning tool like JDA, etc. they are also open to a homegrown space planning tool)
