Job Description

The successful candidate will lead affiliated Midwest offices in several satellite locations, including Cleveland, Detroit, and Indianapolis. They will have the opportunity to oversee an established operation that supports multiple clients across several Midwest states. This operation boasts a solid foundation of contract backlog and employs over 100 staff members with diverse qualifications in environmental science, geology, engineering, geographic information systems, data management, and other disciplines.

The primary responsibilities include supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in all phases of the CERCLA/Superfund process, from emergency response and site assessment to remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design, and cleanup actions. Additionally, we provide support for compliance, due diligence, property development, planning, and community engagement efforts for various federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree is required.
12+ years of experience in the environmental consulting industry.
Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and operations, including recruiting, hiring, P&L responsibility, developing annual operating plans, maintaining budgets, and overseeing office administration.
Extensive experience in managing large-scale environmental and other projects/programs (with annual revenues of $5 million+) for Federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients, including U.S. government agencies such as the EPA or DoD.
Successful track record in all phases of business development, including building and maintaining client relationships, identifying and tracking opportunities, preparing proposals, and leading or supporting client interviews and presentations.
Excellent client relations and communication skills.
Demonstrated history of leadership and supervisory roles, including mentoring and career development at various experience levels.
