Job Description
A consulting client of Insight Global is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive the delivery, evolution, and adoption of Core & Shared Services that power enterprise scale SaaS applications. This individual will work closely with product managers, engineering leaders, architects, and application layer teams to translate platform strategy into scalable, reliable, and consumable platform capabilities. In this role, the Technical Product Owner will own and prioritize the platform backlog, define technical and functional requirements, and partner with engineering throughout design, development, and release cycles. Responsibilities include shaping service boundaries and API contracts, validating technical designs, ensuring non functional requirements are met, and advocating for developer experience through documentation, onboarding, and tooling. The TPO will also support operational excellence by partnering with SRE/DevOps teams on reliability, observability, SLAs/SLOs, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a strong technical foundation, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to balance platform evolution, technical debt, and consumer needs while maintaining alignment with long term architectural strategy. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, collaborative, and comfortable operating in a fast moving, complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
This is a fully remote role, ideally starting ASAP. The pay rate for this role varies depending on level and years of experience and will range from 27-36 LAKH.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 5–8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or similar role supporting platform or infrastructure teams
- Strong understanding of modern SaaS architectures, including microservices, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and event driven systems
- Experience working with cloud native platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with shared platform capabilities such as identity & access management, data services, messaging/eventing, and configuration/feature management
- Ability to read and discuss code, architectural diagrams, and technical designs
- Hands on experience writing clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria
- Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non technical stakeholders
- Proven experience managing cross team dependencies and driving prioritization decisions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Background as a software engineer, architect, or SRE
- Experience building or owning internal platforms or shared services
- Experience with multi tenant SaaS environments
- Familiarity with compliance/security frameworks (SOC2, ISO, GDPR)
- Experience working with distributed teams across geographies
