This is an infrastructure based Systems Operations role. The need is for Sys Admin/Engineer who can also script in python, PowerShell, bash programming languages. Moderate programming skills are okay. Primary toolset is Ansible.
They need someone who is curious, passionate about technology, resourceful, and collaborative.

* In-office not required but would prefer someone that can come in once or twice a month
* Role includes an on-call rotation (1 week duration, rotated across 6 engineers) and some weekend work for patching (1-2 times per year)

- 2+ years of Systems Operations/Engineering, professional experience to understand how enterprises work vs. a college lab
- 1200 servers in the environment (server environment of 300 systems is a must)
- Scripting skillset in either Python, PowerShell, Bash (Python preferred)
- Local to Chicago, able to come on site Tuesdays and Thursday
* Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) -- configuration, patching, and general support including server roles and features (ADDS, GPOs, DNS, RDS, etc.)
Weekly on call on a 6 week rotation
* Cloud administration (AWS preferred) -- EC2 and S3 primarily, also able to interact with related network, identity, and security services
* Automation -- Ansible Core 2.13+and Ansible Automation Platform 2+ preferred, experience automating against REST and/or GraphQL APIs
