Job Description

We are looking for a highly qualified IT Sr Manager Global Master Data Governance to partner with other team members to ensure the companys goals and initiatives are met. This role will be reporting to the Director of Global Data Governance and guiding the organization in building and managing the overall data management plan.

The IT Sr Manager Data Governance position will partner with stakeholders across the business to define effective data governance standards to ensure the quality of master data across the organization globally. This role involves establishing and enforcing data management policies and driving data governance and data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ERP data management, data governance, SAP, and a deep understanding of at least one Master Data domain area (Customer, Vendor, Material). We are looking for a mentor to others in the organization, assisting in data management as a subject matter expert who thrives working on multiple key priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree with 10-15 years experience
10 years of SAP ERP experience in master data management in one of the master data areas: Vendor, Customer, or Material. SAP S4 experience is a must.
Experience in the areas of information systems, project/program management, data modeling, stakeholder management, and process experience.
Experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company is preferred.
2-5 years relevant past leadership experience. A history of mentoring others in the organization as well as supporting team development.
A history of data definition, quality, reporting, and profiling supporting the build of standards, metrics, and reports to formulate governance.
The ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of mass update tools and processes (example: Winshuttle).
Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (heavy usage of Excel for analysis).

Additionally, what youll be doing:
Deliver ad-hoc training and mentoring to other Master Data team members and key business stakeholders.
Working in an Agile/Lean team methodology environment.
Multitask and prioritize or escalate if prioritization assistance is needed.
Excel in the position with empathy, curiosity, and desire to constantly improve, acquire new skills, and drive for results.
Collaborate and build trust with the team and business partners.
Implement and manage data quality reports and profiling as needed to assess the quality of critical data elements.
Define Master Data quality rules to prevent or detect master data outliers.
