Insight Global is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work within our large banking clients Finance division. This team runs transaction testing for regulatory reporting, specifically 2052a and SCCL. This individual will be joining the team to perform controls work and will be validating that the data submitted is correct. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data reported to regulatory bodies through rigorous transaction testing and data validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, regulatory frameworks, and data governance within the banking sector.
Lead and execute transaction-level testing to validate the accuracy of data used in regulatory reports (e.g., 2052a, SCCL, FR Y-9C, FFIEC 031, etc.)
Trace transactions from source systems through data transformation layers to final regulatory reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Collaborate with data owners, IT, and reporting teams to understand data flows, mappings, and transformation logic.
Identify and document data quality issues, root causes, and recommend remediation strategies.
Support internal and external audits and regulatory exams by providing detailed documentation and walkthroughs of transaction testing procedures.
Develop and maintain testing scripts, sampling methodologies, and control frameworks.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and assess their impact on transaction testing and reporting processes.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve data governance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

6-10 years of experience in Regulatory Reporting, Financial Controls, or Audit
Transaction testing and data validation experience
Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. 2052a, Y15, FR Y-9C, SCCL, CCAR, FFIEC 102, etc.)
Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Strong analysis experience and ability to right the ask questions
Bachelors Degree
