Job Description
This role supports the Liquidity team within the Finance division of a major banking client based in Chicago. As a Senior Analyst, you will be embedded within the team’s daily operations and contribute to:
• Liquidity reporting and analysis
• Cash flow and collateral forecasting
• Financial and operational reporting
• Backend data migration and process modernization
The team is actively leveraging AI (currently using Claude) to enhance liquidity analytics, streamline backend data, and prepare datasets for future machine‑learning use cases. You will play a key role in:
• Developing and maintaining Python‑based workflows
• Ensuring data accuracy, structure, and AI readiness
• Supporting the team’s transition toward AI‑enabled financial insights and automation

Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of professional experience
• Prior experience in banking or financial services
• Strong hands‑on Python experience in a production or analytical environment
• Direct experience working with AI tools or platforms, including prompt‑based workflows and model‑assisted analysis
• Current or prior experience utilizing Claude (Anthropic) or comparable large language models in a business or technical setting
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skill
• Background in software development, data engineering, or analytics, including:
• Full‑stack or backend development experience (preferred)
• Front‑end development experience considered
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into scalable, AI‑ready solutions
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with AI/ML readiness initiatives, including preparing structured data for model consumption
Experience or exposure to liquidity concepts, including liquidity reporting, cash flow analysis, or treasury‑related analytics
• Experience working in SAS
• Full‑stack development experience, with a preference for backend focus
