Insight Global is seeking a Sales Manager for a top events and hospitality client to support a premier event venue. This individual will own the full sales lifecycle—from prospecting and relationship building to closing and execution—while collaborating with creative and production teams to deliver unforgettable client experiences. Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of proven sales experience within events, hospitality, or production environments, strong background selling event services (corporate, weddings, galas, social events)
- Demonstrated ability to prospect, cold call, and close new business
- Experience creating proposals, sales presentations, and contracts
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint required)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with event planning or CRM/event management software
- Background in floral, décor, catering, hospitality, or creative production industries
- Strong industry network and active participation in event/hospitality communities
- Knowledge of venue operations, inventory, and event logistics
- Ability to advise on trends, target markets, and bar/beverage packages
