Job Description

One of Insight Globals largest food & beverage clients is seeking a Scrum Master to assist in implementing agile processes in the supply chain organization. From an overarching perspective, the organization is currently going through a major digital transformation, leveraging digitization, AI, and GenAI. The manufacturing space is the bread and butter of their organization with 32 plants in the US and 1 in Canada. They are looking to improve their processes in the manufacturing space (ex: plant efficiency, cost, carbon footprint, etc.) by leveraging agile processes and best practices. The Scrum Master will provide their expertise and guidance to 2-3 teams to improve their supply chain processes. The Scrum Master is expected to not only run ceremonies but understands what their team is working on, the why behind the work, and can provide solutions and output. This is a low to no tech Scrum Master role, supporting the supply chain space, and this individual will need a strong background within supply chain, operations, manufacturing, consumer Packaged goods, and/or the food & beverage industry. This role requires up to 1-2x of travel per quarter.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Experience training a new team on Agile/Scrum best practices/methodologies
Experience with Stakeholder Management with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
Experience with Dependency Management with Resolution Delivery-Outcome driven mindset.
Customer Engagement and experience with delivery management.
Ability to demonstrate high proficiency in soft skills such as Negotiation, Influencing, and Collaboration.
Product Mindset and driven personality to influence product owners from a domain expertise and product knowledge.
Experience with Value capture, KPI measurement and proactive- forward thinking mindset.
Experience with Jira or similar tool

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting a non-traditional Scrum team (i.e. supply chain team, manufacturing team, operations team)
CPG or Food & Beverage industry background (ex: Kellogg, McDonalds, Pepsi, etc.)
