One of Insight Globals largest food & beverage clients seeking an experienced Salesforce Architect to redesign and implement complex Salesforce solutions across their organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud, and will be responsible for creating scalable, efficient, and innovative Salesforce architectures that align with our business objectives.
They will assist in restructuring the Salesforce architecture, implement standardizations and governance, create reusable solution components and implementation accelerators to span across the different Salesforce clouds, connect Salesforce to middleware solutions, enhance the organizations Salesforce security score through data stewardship/security, reduce the duplicate records in the platform, and upgrade certain versions of Salesforce, and implement Core Copado, creating packages in the hub for low-code, standardization in the platform.
This individual must be comfortable working in an agile environment, speaking with technical and non-technical individuals through workshops and requirement gathering. This role has potential to convert to a full-time employee if they are based in one of our clients hub locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions that span multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Commerce, and Consumer Goods)
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
Create detailed technical documentation including solution design documents, data models, and integration frameworks
Develop and maintain Golden Templates for consistent implementation across projects and business units
Establish standardized deployment models using Golden Templates to accelerate implementation timelines
Lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and define solution approaches
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to implementation teams
Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices, design patterns, and governance standards
Evaluate and recommend third-party applications and custom development options
Create proof-of-concepts to validate solution designs
Manage solution architecture across the entire project lifecycle
Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies
Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features across all relevant clouds

5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect OR 7+ Senior Salesforce Developer with strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture
Strong development experience with Lightning Web Components, Apex, and Visualforce and API integrations (REST, SOAP, Bulk API)
Expertise in Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Consumer Goods Cloud
Leading implementations
Configurations/re-configurations of the Salesforce Platforms
Architecting the platforms for best usability
Standardization and governance
Integration patterns and middleware solutions (ex: connecting with Snowflake/SAP) with strong knowledge of data migration knowledge, ETL processes, data modeling
Strong understanding of security models and sharing architecture
Experience creating/implementing reusable templates across different Salesforce clouds including reusable solution components and implementation accelerators
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical stakeholders via discovery works and requirement gathering
Agile methodologies experience
Second-Generation Managed Packages experience (strongly preferred)
History of successful template-based deployments that reduced implementation time and costs
Salesforce Certified System Architect and Application Architect or Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
Background in the consumer goods/retail industry
Knowledge of CPQ solutions
Background in Salesforce business analysis or business process design
Marketing Cloud and/or Experience Cloud experience
Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce
Multi-language individual (ex: Portuguese, Spanish)
