Job Description
A Revenue Integrity Analyst helps make sure a hospital or healthcare system gets paid correctly for the care it provides. They will check medical bills, review codes used for treatments and procedures to make sure they’re accurate (like making sure a knee surgery isn’t billed as a shoulder surgery), find mistakes that could lead to lost money or overcharging, work with doctors, nurses, and billing teams to fix problems and improve how things are documented, make sure the hospital follows rules from insurance companies and government programs like Medicare.

Required Skills & Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, HIM, Finance or related field or 10+ years of equivalent experience with progressive advancement.
3+ years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and accounting skills
Understanding of CPT coding and third party billing requirements
Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
Minimum of one EPIC Certification or Certification must be obtained within six months of employment
Project Management experience in Revenue Integrity, Revenue Cycle, or in Hospitals
Microsoft Office Suite experience
