Our client is one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. They are seeking two OMP Analysts to join the IT Supply Chain team to assist in implementing OMP throughout their 33 factory locations in the US and Canada. This position is remote with 50% requirement to travel to their factories.
The OMP Analyst will collect data requirements, feed data from SAP into OMP, ensure data is set up correctly, and ensure test scripts have been successfully executed on the OMP system. The test scripts are a sequence of steps to exercise the software/integrations to ensure it is working properly. If there are issues, this individual would escalate the issue to another team. This individual will train IT personnel in the factory on basic support of OMP including knowledge transfer, setups, modeling of OMP, constraints of OMP, etc. They need strong foundational knowledge of supply chain, scheduling, and production planning to accurately detect if data is set up properly in the system. They will also need a strong understanding of software development life cycle and continuous improvements, as they add new functionalities into OMP.
Travel Information:
You'll be required to travel to some of their 33 factory locations in the US and Canada. On the second visit to the factory, you will spend 2-3 days for workshops and training. They are now at a phase where they are configuring and setting up the OMP system. Once the system is ready, this individual would travel onsite 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off. You will be compensated for any travel expenses.
* OMP experience from an IT perspective -- conducting test scripts in the system, feeding data into the system, understanding functionalities of the system, updating the system, triggering alerts in the system, etc.
* Experience feeding data from SAP into OMP
* Foundational understanding of supply chain, how scheduling and production planning work
* Strong understanding/exposure to SDLC and continuous improvements
* Open to 50% travel to factories across the US and Canada
