This global hotel chain has a need for an email specialist to work on the MarTech team that supports emails and transactional systems. They will be working remotely from the Mexico City area. Currently, there are 700 email templates to lift and shift to a new platform with 8 different languages. As an Email Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing email templates using HTML and CSS, preferably within the Braze platform. Your role will involve ensuring that emails are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for various email clients and devices.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Template Creation: Design and develop email templates using HTML and CSS, with a preference for Braze tooling.
Dynamic Content: Utilize Handlebars and Liquid to create dynamic and personalized email content.
Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure emails render correctly across various email clients and devices using tools like Email on Acid or Litmus.
Quality Assurance: Test and validate email templates to ensure they meet design and functionality requirements using Brazes built in testing tools.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, design, and development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Agile Process: Participate in Agile processes and use JIRA for task management and tracking.

- Email Template Creation using HTML, CSS, Handlebars

- Experience moving existing templates, shifting platforms, moving from one platform to another, doing lift and shifts of the email templates
- Someone who is detail oriented and double checks their work for accuracy.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML and CSS; experience with Braze is preferred.
Dynamic Content: Experience with Handlebars and Liquid for dynamic content creation.
Testing Tools: Familiarity with Email on Acid or Litmus for email testing.
Agile & JIRA: Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA is a plus.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience: Previous experience in email template creation or similar roles is preferred.
Braze or Other Email Platform: Experience preferred but not required
Ability to Attend Standups at 10AM Central Time
