Job Description

Associate Manager, Distributed Email Operations
The Associate Manager, Distributed Email Operations is responsible for executing and ensuring the quality of property-led email marketing campaigns across a portfolio of ~34 hotels globally (U.S., Europe, Asia). Hotels independently create and structure campaigns—including content, imagery, and targeting—while this role serves as the primary QA, approvals, and deployment partner.
Key responsibilities include reviewing campaigns for accuracy (spelling, links, content compliance), ensuring alignment with brand and CRM standards, and managing the approvals process. This individual also acts as a cross-functional liaison with Field Marketing to provide visibility into campaign activity for opted-in properties.
This is a highly detail-oriented, operations-focused role that blends campaign execution, stakeholder coordination, and quality assurance. Ther is opportunity for growth into a team leadership position.

Responsibility breakdown:

Campaign Quality Assurance & Approvals
• Review and approve marketing campaigns to ensure:
o Brand and design compliance
o Content accuracy, grammar, and messaging consistency
o Legal content compliance
• Validate campaign functionality, including rendering, responsiveness, link accuracy, tagging and personalization logic
Facilitate and manage approval workflows across stakeholders
Campaign Execution Support
• Coordinate campaign deployment with hotel, field marketing, CRM, and platform teams once approvals are secured
Ensure campaigns are executed according to established timelines and calendars
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all campaigns adhere to CRM governance, including audience rules and contact frequency guidelines, and content compliance guidelines
Identify risks or issues and escalate as needed
Stakeholder Coordination
• Act as the primary point of contact for field marketing managers and assigned hotels where applicable
Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
Onboarding & Training
• Lead onboarding for new hotels into the marketing platform and operational processes
• Provide training on campaign tools, templates, and best practices
Offer ongoing support for troubleshooting and template-related issues

Required Skills & Experience

- 3 + years of experience in marketing operations, email marketing, or CRM campaign execution
- Experience executing and ensuring the quality of email marketing campaigns for a large enterprise or an agency working with large enterprises
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot)
• Agency experience or large enterprise environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously
• Experience supporting multi-location or franchise-based organizations
• Familiarity with email marketing best practices
• Someone who has expertise in bringing new ideas to the table, and who can advise on improving processes, innovating on this platform

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Braze and Sageflo Radiate (or other like platforms) a plus
• Experience in hospitality, travel, or related industries a plus
• Global experience
