Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for driving sales growth across a defined Midwest territory by managing existing leads, generating new business through referrals, and delivering product demonstrations to industrial customers. This role focuses on selling handheld and small-form analytical instrumentation, including X-ray, LIBS, and elemental analysis spectrometers, into predominantly industrial markets.
This is a fully remote, field-based role with regular customer travel throughout the assigned territory.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

*Contact and manage customers based on inbound leads provided by the organization
*Generate additional leads through customer relationships, referrals, and industry networking
*Conduct follow-ups with customers via phone, email, and Salesforce
*Schedule and perform web-based demonstrations and onsite equipment demos at customer facilities
*Travel locally and regionally within the Midwest territory to meet with customers
*Utilize Salesforce for forecasting, pipeline management, and customer follow-up
*Transport and demonstrate company-provided analytical equipment at customer sites
*Participate in local and regional trade shows (a few per month), coordinated with the marketing team

Required Skills & Experience

*Experience working with spectrometers or analytical instrumentation
*Must be comfortable traveling over 50% of the time.
*Background selling into or working within industrial environments strongly preferred
*Associate or bachelor's degree

*Experience utilizing Salesforce
